ANSWER:

No problem in thanking others of what they are capable of helping with.

The prophet salla Allahu alaihi wa sallam said: “Whoever does not thank the people, does not thank Allah”.

I read article and now it’s causing waswas, if my manager does me a “favour” at and I thank him, but the thought of thanking Allah doesn’t appear in my mind would this be classed as shirk or sinful even though my fundamental belief is nothing happens without the decree of Allah, when I received this help/blessing I just forgot but when sat and reflected I alway know nothing happens without decree
