Yes, you’re sinful and it’s not permissible for you to ask such questions nor be involved in any way in these riba based haram transactions.

I work as an advertiser for a real estate agent here in America and my job is to bring him clients that want to buy homes. One of the questions I ask the home buyers is “if they’re approved for mortgage by a lending company. As it is know here in America usually home mortgages are riba based. Am I sinful for asking these questions? I’m not involved in the loan paperwork.
