ANSWER:

The Prophet salla Allahu alaihi wa sallam prohibited us from breathing in a vessel. Blowing over food is not permissible as it contaminates it and makes it disliked to others eating after you. But if no one is going to share it with you, you can blow on it. 

Can we blow on our food or drinks before consuming it, because it’s hot?
