When I learnt about moving the finger in Tashshahud, I started doing so diligently. Recently I heard, that once Rasul Allah ﷺ was praying and a jinn came to him, so he started moving his finger to drive him away…. So that was just one incident. Hence we shouldn’t move our finger! So which one is true now?

Can we take aqeedah from sh. Saleh al Fawzan? Is he a trustworthy scholar? I have friends, who don’t respect him and advice me not to take knowledge from him and that there are scholars who are more decent and reliable than him.

ANSWER: This is a cultural issue. If all the men are prolonging their hair, this seems permissible. But if they are not and the individual is most likely imitating women or kafir celebrities, this is prohibited.

ANSWER: Watching the movies is not permissible and you’re sinful for this, however this does not effect having Qur’an in the same phone. No problem in reciting Qur’an from this phone.

A sheikh from the hanafi madhab told me if you have prayed a rakah before the sunrise the prayer is not in time until you have made the taslim before the sunrise. Is there this opinion? Are there differet opinions between the scholars?

Sheikh, what to think of a man who pretends to do istikhara for others, he told my mom to buy a car that would take all the witchcraft others do on her.My brother went to jail and he gave him something to eat saying that he would answer call of nature outside of the prison for that thing he ate.He got out of jail as the man had said.

ANSWER: First of all, istikhara cannot be done for others and anyone claiming to know the unseen is either a liar or a soothsayer. You must advise your mother to stop going to such people as believing in those who claim to know the unseen future takes a person out of the folds of Islam.

ANSWER: This is not permissible.

My question is that if a Muslim plays a video that has Shirk in it, then does he loose his Imaan? The Muslim hates the Shirk and Kufr in his heart tremendously in the scenario but he plays the video games. In one scene, he is with the Hindus in the temple where he has to engage in shirk, otherwise he cannot proceed. He only plays the game for the shooting and adventure.

My friend a few months ago started a YouTube channel based on cooking. In his first few video he used music in the back but later started using beatboxing with no music. Am I sinful if I follow his social media and share his videos where he uses beatboxing or is it consider music?

ANSWER: Beatboxing is prohibited as it has the same impact and effect as music. You must not share the videos as you would carry his sin and may watch his videos on mute.
