My husband is a wonderful man who prays regularly. But his sleep is deep and sometimes it’s difficult to wake him up for prayers. How much responsibility is it on me to keep trying? Should I keep trying? Please let me know. I really struggle with this.

I don’t quite understand what it means to uphold the ties of kinship. Do I have to talk with my relatives on phone (I don’t live near them) regularly to uphold the ties? I see them once in a year or two.

I got a stain of dark brown color before 7 days of my period. I washed it and waited for my period to actually start but it didn’t. Time fot isha was going so i prayed isha. ANSWER: You must not stop praying and fasting untill you see the flow of blood as these spottings are not your period. You must clean this, change the underwear, make wudu before praying.

I have heard that while doing intercourse, there should be cover like bed sheet above the both spouses. Is it permissible to do intercourse without cover ?

ANSWER: What you have heard is absolutely baseless. As long as people say bismillah before taking off clothes, this is sufficient as this is a protection against jinn watching them naked and there’s absolutely no problem in spouses having intimacy without covering with bedsheets or anything else.
