Sheikh I read in one of fatwas(fatwa number: 333514) on islamqa.info that states that one who fears being getting infected with covid19 can pray at home and not offer congregational prayer. Should I follow this fatwa?

ANSWER: If they are sick then they must pray home but if they’re normal and go out to do other daily activities like school, shopping, office etc then they must pray in the masjid while taking the necessary precautions and safety instructions.

Is it allowed that the hands are covered from my long head scarf during prayer, (I’m not wearing gloves) so just face can be seen (there are no non mahrams just me alone)?

ANSWER: The sunnah is not to cover the hands as long as there is no non mahram around but if it is covered due to the head cover being too long, this is ok.

Did every individual female need to bring her mehram with her while travelling. Like example: Me & my father so he is my mahram went to shopping mall.now with us i have my cousin also, who are non_mehram to my father. Did she also need to bring her mahram also?

ANSWER: Women do not need their mahram while commuting within the city limits. When traveling outside the city borders, each woman must be accompanied by her male mahram. If two women have a common mahram then only that mahram is sufficient for both.

Sheikh I heard a hadith about saying when a person is yet to die his/her place will be shown to him/her before death (whether it is hell/heaven). Is it authentic? Please clarify.

ANSWER: This is not authentic.

Sheikh in our locality, there are many beggars who knock on our doors/cars. Sometimes we are reluctant to give because i believe it will only encourage them to continue such act and not look for a simple living that will give them their own source of income. Can you please enlighten us on how to deal with them?

How far apart are legs suppose to be in salah or how close are they suppose to be during salah?

ANSWER: In the standing position, they should be apart as the width of a person’s shoulders. As for sujood, one should bring them together.

Sheikh, I didn’t know what was ruqyah and used to ask my mother to do it. Now I have come to know about the hadith and I want to be among those 70000. Is there anything I can do except for asking forgiveness to Allah(SWT)?

ANSWER: What happened in the past and one stopped it, Allah will forgive and would erase what was in the past.

Shaikh if i put a song on status “without music” and lyrics are fine there is no any filthy or shirkiya lyrics in it and i remove music…? Is it permissible…?

ANSWER: You shouldn’t do that as you would always relate it to the original song which was with music and most people who would see that would be interested to listen to the original one and you would have directed them to that.
