QUESTION: In my second raka I thought I did two sujood but after starting to recite the tashahhud I realised that I only did one sujood and went for the second sujood. In this case should I have performed sujood as-sahu as I said the tashahhud in the wrong place?

ANSWER: Yes, you must do sujood as sahu after salam and do another set of salam after sujood as sahu

QUESTION: Sheikh, when I help someone, should the thought that I am helping them and making them happy cross my mind, or should all my helping be purely for the pleasure of Allah? Does feeling glad that my help made someone happy affect my sincerity or reduce the reward?

ANSWER: It can be a combination of both as making them happy is a byproduct of pleasing Allah.

QUESTION: I received a marriage proposal from a revert brother. He wants to dedicate his life to da’wah, work only 4 days a month, and support the family with that income. ANSWER: She is not obliged to obey him in this as she is not a servant to them! However, if they visit his house, as any guest, she is obliged to honor them and serve them but not if they are staying there for ever as in the case of a joint family system.
