No problem in teaching him. He doesn’t need to revert to learn the Quran.

You can give him the Quran in his native language for him to be able to read himself.

QUESTION: My Non Muslim friend said I should teach him how to read the Quran. Am I supposed to tell him that he has to convert first before I can teach him or I can just teach him if he doesn’t want to convert
