ANSWER: It was not a valid nikah. This has no value as it was a mockery of Islamic rulings! Repent to Allah sincerely while showing deep remorse and never be in a haram relationship again as this is totally prohibited in Islam.

QUESTION: Once during a Jumuah prayer,the mic of the mosque malfunctioned and we couldn’t hear anything,only bits of sounds were coming every now and then.As the people on the upper floors couldn’t see the imam, they improvised based on the bits they could hear.I was in the 2nd floor, without knowing what to do I followed them.I don’t know if the prayer was valid. What should we have done in such situation?

ANSWER: Its valid as long as you all did your due diligence. If you cannot know what position the imam is in at all then you can continue to pray on your own and finish the prayer

QUESTION: Son lives with wife & kids in separate portion of father’s house. Father deceased, mother runs household. Son gave no expenses for 5 years; mother pays for bills, rice, flour, etc. Wife is a narcissist No regard for mother.
