Supplications

ANSWER: Making your own duaa is permissible without any problem as this is not prescribed and you are not saying it in a prescribed time or position.

In ramadan when i break my fast i eat with my whole family so can i just miss maghrib in the mosque and pray at home because it will be hard

Fasting

ANSWER: No. Simply break your fast with a date or something quick, pray in the masjid and then come back and have the proper meal.

Do minor sins require repentance?

ANSWER: All sins require repentance! The prophet salla Allahu alaihi wa sallam warned Muslims from minor sin and gave the example of little twigs and branches that when gathered together can build a huge fire.

Sheikh i love a non muslim girl but i have not been in a relationship with her i want a halal marriage can i pray to Allah bless to accept islam and ask her hand for marriage?

ANSWER: No problem in making dua without having any contact with her. However, you would want to marry a woman who would be an ideal mother of your children who would raise them on islam and not someone who may reject Islam and run away with your children and make them follow her religion!

In prayer i cover my Awrah including Knees. But outside I wear shorts which show my Knees and dont fully cover awrah and may show tigh . does it nullify islam if i think it is halal and ok to show knees and awrah outside prayer in front of people meaning if i think it is ok to show my knees and part of my upper leg I AM MALE as thinking haram is halal voids islam

ANSWER: Whoever makes what is haram in Islam halal out of his own whims and desires is an apostate.

Imam starts reciting fatiha before I complete Dua istifta and other duas.. Should I continue saying them or stop and listen to the imam?

ANSWER: Marrying a chaste Christian woman is permissible but it is not advisable. If they choose to convert by themselves and out of their own will, this is fine but one can’t guarantee that this would happen or that she won’t negatively impact the children to be christians!

I have 3 Quran, and I only Read Quran on my phone, so I left them in the bookshelf , because I don’t Read them, I never touch them and they are dusty now, if I left it like that and not clean it, am I sinful? Or even I can get out of Islam by that?

Reading/Reciting the Quran

ANSWER: If you are doing this out of disrespect to the Quran, this sinful. But if you do that due to forgetfulness or laziness, this is not sinful but inappropriate.

Sheikh it is mentioned that if one prays for forgiveness and gives charity for the dead their punishment in the grave is lessened. Does it mean that it is reduced for time being or it can be totally stopped due to duas and charities?
