QUESTION: Heard that it’s haram to greet with gesture(hand/finger).So, it is haram to wave the hand as a greeting? How about waving and smiling as a greeting? What about greeting someone while waving and saying hi/hello?What about the world leaders waving hands to public/media in meeting or seminars?

ANSWER: This is what Ibn Al-Qayyim said as this was at his time part of the forms of greeting by the disbelievers. Nowadays, this is mainly common among the Muslims and it seems to be ok providing it is with mahrams or the same gender.

One of the categories of people, who will be under the shade of Allah is the youth who grew up worshipping Him. Is doing the obligatory Ibadats enough to be in this category or someone has to do more nafl Ibadats also?

When I go to the part of washing my face in wudu, I start thinking about it I really washed my hands 3 times,or my mouth/nose. Then I realize that my muscle memory is used to doing it 3 times. So maybe even subconsciously I did it right. But at the same time, Shaytan may be tricking me with these thoughts. So I repeat my wudu over and over again. Please enlighten me.
