QUESTION: Can I ask someone to have blow on things which are used in ruqyah? Can I have blow from another person reciting long surah from Quran on water, oil etc. for using in ruqyah process for myself? The blow is not directly on myself from another person. But, on those things which are used in ruqyah process. I didn’t want to ask someone to do ruqyah on myself, as I heard getting ruqyah from others is disliked. But is it asking ruqya from others?

ANSWER: If one does it for you without you asking them, there is no problem in that. However, if you ask for it, you would be excluded from the 70k who would be admitted to paradise without account or torment.

QUESTION: We know that every dua is accepted in one of 3 ways – getting what you ask, deflecting calamity, or saved for akhira. So what’s the significance of times when dua is accepted like between athan and iqama, when it rains, etc?

ANSWER: This is more likely for it to be accepted as even in the 3 situations, one is not certain whether he was sincere or not and whether Allah accepted his duaa or not.

QUESTION: Sheikh! I read it at many places that Allah gives you whatever you ask for if you pray 40 days tahajjud continuously. Can you please comment on the authenticity of this?

ANSWER: What she’s saying is totally wrong. He’s your husband and you can definitely talk with him and even go out for dinners, shopping etc with him. Talk to him behind her back!

QUESTION: When we see someone praying in the wrong direction of the qibla should we let them finish their prayer and let them know afterwards or should we interrupt them during their prayer and tell them that they are not facing the direction of the qibla?

ANSWER: This is not permissible as it’s Allah who gave him the share in your inheritance if you were to die! You can easily divorce him if he doesn’t provide for you financially and by this not only you can take him off your will but also out of your entire life!
