Completely ignore them and never respond to such people and move on. When dogs bark, it is not logical to fall on your hands and knees and bark back! 

QUESTION: People trend to slander you and also slander those following the path of salafiyah which really makes me angry. I’m a layman and i mostly try to correct them and say them to fear Allah. What i have found is most of the time it doesn’t work and I’m wasting my time and i feel I’m corrupting my heart. Will i be sinful if i ignore them although i can refute them?
