QUESTION: Hanafi’s don’t recite Surah Fatiha during the Janaza cause they believe it is not a salah but only a prayer for the deceased. Is their prayer valid?

ANSWER: Omitting the Fatiha renders their prayer invalid.

ANSWER: This is authentic: Al-Adab Al-Mufrad 112 Ibn ‘Abbas informed Ibn az-Zubayr, “I heard the Prophet, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, say, ‘He is not a believer whose stomach is filled while his neighbor goes hungry.'”

QUESTION: Say someone who’s female identifies as m*le, therefore wants to be referred to as he/him. As a Muslim, I can’t comply with that. I also have to treat them with dignity, so how can I come to a decision that won’t affect my beliefs and won’t disrespect the person? What if someone wants to be called by they/them? Can I just always call them by their name, to avoid pronouns all together?

ANSWER: You must not be associated with such a person. If they want to be identified as dogs, will you give them the honor to do so?

ANSWER: You should not keep the Qur’an there as the authorities would dispose them off because it doesn’t have their official stamp. Give charity where ever you are and don’t send it all the way to Makkah.

QUESTION: I am a revert for 3 years now and my parents are against Islam. They are constantly saying things like they want to take my children to see Santa or do Christmas stuff (they are babies) or buying them presents for Christmas. ANSWER: You must not let them take the children to such haram Kafir gatherings or to meet such people. If they send you gifts for the children, you can accept such gifts without being with them on Christmas Day or the likes.

QUESTION: What is the reason that jinn can still stay in house even doing all means from Quran and Sunnah like reciting Surah AlBaqarah, Ayat Kursi, (Surah AlFalaq and AnNas) and etc…

ANSWER: This might be related to the lack of conviction in the person’s heart of what he is reciting.

QUESTION: When the gossip about aisha was spreading, i dont understand why didnt the prophet apply the penalty to the slanderer since he didnt have witnesses to prove the claim? Why did the prophet have to wait for Allah to reveal it, wouldnt it be enough that aisha testifies her innocence? Kindly explain this please

ANSWER: There weren’t anyone they could pin out and accuse of slandering her as no one came forward and they were all careful not to be exposed.

QUESTION: A Christian is converted to Islam, but he didn’t change his name, he says there isn’t any need of it. What’s the rulling sheikh ? Do he need a muslim name or not?

ANSWER: He is not supposed to change his name unless it has some bad meaning.

QUESTION: People buy Kafan (deadboy cloth) for themselves in advance during their lifetime and keep them. Is it allowed? Then people take it to Makkah and get it washed (ghusl) in zamzam water. They also get different ayats and duas written or imprinted on them. I have never heard of this before and it turns out that this is a practice on a huge level amongst Muslims in the Subcontinent (India/Pak).

ANSWER: No problem in buying the kafan but taking it to makkah and washing it with zamzam and writing ayahs on it is totally prohibited and an innovation.
