This is absolutely not true. You love them, respect them and obey them as parents but you hate in them their disbelief and try your best to make them accept Islam.

One should say Allah forbids.

The Prophet salla Allahu alaihi wa sallam used to ask Allah: O Allah, as you have perfected my creation, perfect my character (moral conduct). This was his pursue of human perfection and setting the bar for his followers.

No, it is not part of the Sunnah.

Saying rumors and spreading them is forbidden and a sin. There isn’t anything in the Quran or Sunnah that can be said to protect you from that. Our Prophet’s wife was slandered by the hypocrites at the time of the Prophet salla Allahu alaihi wa sallam.

  Any way that is not harmful to them is acceptable.

It is advisable to be diplomatic and kind to people so that they would love Islam without lying about the truth and without allowing falsehood to flourish.
