Have an absurd question, which troubles me. Thing is I like long hair a lot!!! In fact I can’t imagine a wife without long, healthy, shiny hair. I don’t know why would any woman want to have their hair short but some actually do. Now since we can’t see her hair, can we ask how long her hair is? Problem is that it just sounds so wrong but I don’t want to take a chance either. Maybe that’s where sisters would come in handy. What if somebody doesn’t have a mother/sister to ‘see’ the girl? I actually find that wrong too. I mean this is not a sale or anything that you need to scrutinize everything. So any solutions???

Today at work a non mahram manager came over to me and offered he hand to shake, I was in such a situation that I shaked the hand. In a non muslim country men and women are treated the same .. but I know you should no shake hands with a person who is not your mahram. All eyes were on me to shake her hand and the I was pressured to shake the hand Usually I dont shake hands with no mahram but in such a pressure situation and such a environment and atmosphere it was hard to resist. Is there any fatwa regarding this situation. i pray to allah and repent for my sins (as stafir allah wa atooba illay)

If a covert muslima s going to inherit her christian parents,can she spend the money or keep it because the family bussiness is from grapes farm and some grapes are use to make wine and some vinegar and some to sell as fruits and other things? and if she cannot inherit them, can she recieve it as a gift from them while they are still alive?

Are we not allowed to sleep with the lights on?or is not recomanded? I hear that we must close all lights while we sleep.

This is not true. You can sleep with the lights on. What is recommended is not to let fire on while sleeping so that a mouse would not come and burn the house with it. And Allah knows best

There is nothing in the Sunnah that forbids this directly. It only falls under the general rulings of respecting the Quran.. And Allah know best

Can i say the basmala in other language than arabic?For exemple when i start to eat can i say : In the name of Allah(becouse i m not an arab i feel more comforable to say it in my native language)…i depride myself from reward?

Although the meaning of Bismillah is “I begin with the name of Allah”, yet this is an Islamic terminology and we must say it as it is. It is also not permissible to say Allah is great instead of Allahu Akbar. And Allah knows best
