It is permissible to use it but it is not recommended if there is the fear that it would be mixed up with the Christian concept of “holy”.

Therefore, it is best to avoid it.

Can we use the word “Holy” for calling the Quran, Prophet (Sallallahu aalaihi wasallam) and Ramadaan like – Holy Quran, Holy Prophet, Holy Month etc. ? I heard that Muslims started using this word looking at how Christians call Bible.
