Alhamdulillah i am a practicing muslimah but i feel depressed nowadays because i dont have colored eyes and get jealous for no reason like my mom has.Allah created us.Are these thoughts from shaytan and making me depressed?Can i do ruqyah in this case so what’s the method if we want to blow it on water?Is it a test for me to remain patient to have sabr.I cant concentrate on studies.Pleasehelp

ANSWER: It seems that this is permissible for women as it is something that a lot of women do it. However, it doesn’t seem to be permissible for men as it resembles disbelievers and I don’t know of it being something that Muslim men do.

We know that hanging photographs in the house is not permissible. But what about the pictures of humans or animals on food items? For example there is pictures of animals on Hot Sauce bottle or on Cereal boxes. Should we do something about them or leave it the way it is?

I am planning to buy car on finance monthly installatment but the dealer said they will increase the price in order to make interest free. They might add interest or profit to increase the price but it is not clear. Is it halal if they add interest to increase the price of the car than the cash price as I will pay monthly installatment?

ANSWER: If they fix the price beforehand and sell the car for you for say 120,000 and the actual price of the car is 100,000 and this 120,000 would not change at the end and you pay in monthly installments for say 5 years, this is permissible, providing the dealers own the car beforehand.

Allah has cursed the women who joins fake hair and the one who gets it done. My question is, what if the lashes aren’t made of hair? E.g if the are of plastic, and not original hair?

ANSWER: No, you cannot perform umrah on behalf of her. You can perform on behalf of a deceased person, providing you had done your own Umrah at least once previously.
