dear sheikh my mother prays regularly since I saw fron childhood.mother visits so mmany shrines and give food their.she already took (bayat) from a local (phir) who is so famous.the straight path that I follow they called me wahabi. I tried my best my mother to understand the straight path.but she refuse & answer u follow ur way. sheikh what I should I do.

ANSWER: Keep on relating her to Quran and sunnah and not to scholars while making a lot of Duaa for her guidance. By connecting her to the word of Allah, she will adhere to it one day.

Sheikh my friend had some interest money. she wants to know if she could use it to buy a cloth n give to a Christian friend?

ANSWER: This is not permissible, she must give this money to poor or needy Muslims, and not use it for her own benefit.

I heard that is not good to keep anything that will remind you of the dead person but I have a picture of my late mother on my phone thus that one too counts?

ANSWER: One can keep things of dead people, but it is not permissible to keep their pictures.

Im living in uae from last 8 years.i travel to my home country pakistan every year for 40 days.i stay there in 3 differnet cities.8 to 9 days in one city 6 to 7 days in second city. rest of the days in third city from where i am landing and take off.my parents’s home is there.i want to ask should i pray qasar salah in evry 3 cities?or should pray full salah? plz reply in brief.

ANSWER: You must not shorten when you reach your hometown.

Can a women offer funeral pray??if yes, then she should stand behind the men like in normal prayers or she can stand with men…. like if there is only one row and all men and women are standing one the same row…. is it permissible….

I found 1 or 2 religiuos bride for marriage whose family are poor even I also.my mother ask their family for huge dowry.I remembered my mother that according sunnah poor can be married without spending a penny.as of my current status I wish I could do that.but my mother gets angry & answered do marriage by yourself.besides I am getting older in age. what can I do?

ANSWER: You must not listen to her in this regard at all. You can get married in a most humble way and you must not take even a penny from your bride as this is not part of Islam whatsoever, in fact it is you who has to give her dowry(Mahr)

I started blaming some of my relatives and friends for evil eyes to my husband I didn’t mentioned anyone’s name.. I might be wrong in blaming have I done a major sin?

ANSWER: If you have not taken names but if people know who you’re talking about, this is slandering and a major sin. You shouldn’t accuse anyone without proof. You must repent to Allah sincerely and ask for forgiveness with deep remorse.

When to read sura fatiha in solah 1. same time every sentence with imam or 2 should recite the sentence just after imam finish a sentence or 3 after imam completes the surah?

ANSWER: You must not recite it when the Imam is reciting. You can recite immediately after the imam is done or you can even skip it as imam’s recitation suffices for the followers in loud rakahs.

Is it permissible to keep photo albums in the home just for memories ( they are not kept for people to see).

It’s been 2 years of marriage with baby girl. Me & hubby have fight a lot due to difference in understanding level. I think he is always in complex from my family because in status I am higher. He is reserved for his family that I can’t even complain abt his family. Always I think I should divorce him because he says that he will just consider me for the sake of his baby.i don’t know what to do
