Sir i live in a islamic hostel and the people follow Hanafi Mazhab. They say that i must follow only 1 mazhab. They go to the grave of Suliaman Hilmi Tunahan and call his grave KABBA SHAREEF. they suplicate facing towards his grave and they leave walking backwards so that they dont show their back to his grave . Can i pray behing these people? Is this hanafi mazhab?

Salaam, is there something like durood e quddus? I m married since 5 years & not conceived yet. Someone told my husband to write durood quddus on paper and keep it in a bowl containing rain water until the ink dissolves and give the water to his wife if she is unable to conceive. Two women in his family conceived after following this method. Is it authentic?

ANSWER: This is baseless and not permissible since it’s an innovation. Just make general dua during times of acceptance, such as in salah in your sujood, in the last tashahud, before making salam, between Azaan and iqama, during the last third of the night, begging Allah until He opens the door and answers your dua.

ANSWER: Interest money must be given to Muslim charity in order to cleanse ones wealth without anticipating any reward from it. If they are classified as poor or needy, this is permissible.

I have a relative.she has 6 kanal land but of very low price.her husband passed away and have 4 sons at home.2 of them working earning each 15 thousand the other 2 are not working .1 is married and have a family as well.they have sisters but all are married except 1 …they pass the month with difficulty. Can I give zakat to them ?the land they have is fertile but not fulfilling their needs…..

ANSWER: If they are Muslims and classified by others to be poor or needy and they are unable to complete the month with the earnings they have, you can give them from zakat.

I helped a person out with money and in the end I helped him with over £5000 in money. I worked extremely hard for this money and he has not given any of my money back. I have asked him many times for it. He keeps saying he will return it and makes up excuses and lies. I will not go to anyone about this but I wanted to know will I ever get my money back? ANSWER: You should take him to the cops if you have the paperwork where he had signed that you gave him this money or the bank transfer statements. If there are no witnesses and you don’t have a paper proving this, you have only yourself to blame!
