sheikh, what is the ruling on raising finger during adhaan and iqama before salah? Was that done during the time of mohammad sallalahu alaihi wassallam? Or is it a bidaat?

ANSWER: This is not permissible as this is not from the Sunnah.

ANSWER: Yes, you can apply it after wudu and you can pray with this on as long as the wudu is not broken. The nails must be covered when in front of non mahrams and while going out as this is part of beautification.

ANSWER: No, she should not stop praying until she sees the proper flow of blood. She should change the undergarment, wash the private part, make wudu and then pray.

Sheikh, is there a ruling to say the surahs in order in salah? E.g. if in the first rakah we say surah Falaq, can we not say surah Ikhlas in the subsequent rakah or we necessarily have to say surah Nas?

ANSWER:

My aunt who is 65 old does not do wudoo. She just does tayammum by rubbing on clean walls where I cannot see dust. When asked to do wudoo, she says she is fearful of catching sneezing allergy (which she sometimes has). My fear is that if this is not a valid reason then her prayers would be invalid. How to make her understand?

ANSWER: This is totally wrong , you must tell her that she must not make taiamum in case of availability of water, and if there is no harm on her, otherwise her prayers are not valid.
