I want to ask you many people here in pakistan beleive in peer o mushid in which they beleive our peer help us in difficulties as that peer(person) is dead already. They beleive that peer who was a very nobel person indeed is a frield(wali) of Allah and Allah grant him every thing so he (that nobel person) can give any thing to his followers that they demand but on his own wish.

Shirk and its different forms

ANSWER: This kind of belief is a major shirk which takes a person out of the folds of Islam.

We have neighbours who have openly displayed taweezaat in there home and they have gatherings where they do Allah ho and conduct milaads as well. If they send food to us is it permissible to eat it?

Innovations

ANSWER: This is permissible providing they didn’t slaughter the animal themselves and if the food is halal, and you don’t join them in their gatherings.

Sheikh my parents have no fault in there aqeeda but they do some bidah out of love like mawlid, celebrating 27 Rajab etc. I want to ask what willbe ruling of shariah on them? I know bidah is worst but their aqeedah is authentic because they raised us with Salaf aqeedah. But due a less knowledge about this isssue they do so. I am trying to guide them but is ther good hope for them?

Innovations

ANSWER: They are Muslims but sinful for their innovations. Keep on building their love to our Prophet salla Allahu alaihi sa sallam but direct them to his sunnah so that such innovations would be eliminated.

Sheikh my friends have interviews at 8 am or 9am. The sehri time for fasting ends at 4 30 am. They cannot wake up at that time. So, they do their sehri at 12 am at night and go to sleep. Then they wake up for their interviews at 7 am. Is that okay to do? Is the fast valid?

Fasting

ANSWER: Their fast is valid, however it’s a major sin to skip the Fajr. Eating suhoor is a highly recommended sunnah, in which there is baraka.

My complexion Isn’t much white and have nose a bit wide. Due to this people even my own parents point out this fault and so my relatives. So my question is Is this a test of me from Allah? Bcz i read on islamqa that Allah tests with different things

ANSWER: Yes, this is a test. You must have patience and complete reliance on Allah and you must know that beauty is just skin deep, it’s the beauty of the heart and the faith inside it that really matters and Allah has created everyone beautiful.

“Whoever reads Soorat al-Kahf on the day of Jumu’ah, will have a light that will shine from him from one Friday to the next.” Please explain what is meant by light will shine for him; as i am not getting it’s meaning.

ANSWER: It means the light that enlightens one’s way, and makes him avoid sins and bad deeds, or it is a light that appears in the judgment day.

Shaykh, i have difficulty at the moment doing Rafa yadain with tranquillity because it comes it to my mind that I am showing off and doing minor shirk, this is because ever since I’ve been young I’ve always thought doing it always looked better, the only reason I do it cos I know it’s the Sunnah but these little doubts creeping in to say I’m doing it show off, is this minor shirk

ANSWER: Once you open the door for Satan with such justifications, he will ruin your life and force you leave praying completely for the fear of showing off! Instead, keep on always observing the sunnah and raising your hands to anger him and to make his plans fail.

I am planning to start a buisness of baking and selling cakes.. if someone will order cake for birthday celebration , will it be haram for me to sell it? The money which i get from the customer will it be considered haram money?

ANSWER: You must not take orders of birthdays, anniversaries etc and the money earned through such orders will not be halal for you. If they order a cake but you don’t know why it is for, there is no sin on you in this as you don’t have to investigate or ask!

Can u give zakat money to parents if they are in dire need of it

ANSWER: No. Parents are children’s responsibility and they must help them out from their own money, this is the reason why you must not give them your zakat money. If your husband is taking out zakat on his wealth then he can give his parents in law his zakat.
