QUESTION: I’m newly married and my wife is a good practicing Muslim but she doesn’t do hijab when going out however she put scarf on her head. She thinks hijab will make her look very odd. ANSWER: Yes, you must not allow her to leave the house while not abiding by the proper hijab. If she doesn’t want to comply regardless of all your advice and effort, you can consider giving her an ultimatum before divorcing her as this is a make it or break it issue.
