Sir how can we judge whether the boy is one with whom we should get married as per our Islam?

ANSWER: This is done through investigating by asking the imam of the masjid whether he is regular in prayer or not and by asking his colleagues and relatives about his character etc.

my husband used to work abroad. I recently discovered he had an affair for at least 2years whilst he was working away. He has now returned to be together with our children, he won’t give me any details of the affair. I am trying to forgive and move on but I’m very suspicious. Is it permissible to hack his mobile.

ANSWER: This is not permissible as spying is prohibited in Islam. If he is remorseful over what he had done and he wants to be with you and his children, forgive him for the sake of Allah as by not doing this, you will be letting Shaytan destroy your marriage and life.

Is it normal for a husband to say that wife try even control his wish of travel date bring him bad luck when wife try to advice why not try to travel 1 day earlier or later in order not to miss friday prayer?

ANSWER: No, as no one can bring “bad luck” to anyone and thinking this can be a form of shirk! It is obvious that such a husband has issues and she must be more than diplomatic when dealing with him!

Is it compulsory that nikkah should be done in mosque ? Or can the nikkah be in any other place or building?

ANSWER: It is neither compulsory nor recommended to do nikah in the masjid. It can be done anywhere.

Who has to spend money for the nikkha feast and other expenditure on that day, groom’s family or bride’s family, which is permissible in islamic shareeya

ANSWER: It is the responsibility of the groom. However, sometimes the brides’ family wishes to invite more guests and would like to contribute. This is permissible.

Suppose during aqd nikah mahr is written as 200000 tk, but with the intention that 70000 is obligatory to pay (as husbands capacity is low) and the remaining are optional for the husband, its totally up to him will he pay it or not? Is this type of condition allowed?

When should the valima/feast be held? right after nikkah gets over/next day or can it be after a few days or even after a month?

ANSWER: The Sunnah is to do it the next day, after consumating the marriage. However, no problem in delaying it as per your convenience.

ANSWER: It is your wife’s right to have a separate accommodation after marriage. You can visit your mom everyday or whenever she is in need, or you can keep a helper with her. Can the potential husband and wife be alone in a room with the door open and the female-only family members of each family sitting in another room, talking amongst themselves? Can the man continue looking at the woman when talking, after he finds that he is attracted to her? What about the woman? What other boundaries must be set?

ANSWER: The potential suitor must talk to the woman in the presence of her male guardian in the initial interview conducted by him. Being alone with him is not permissible. During this interview, it is permissible to look at one another and talk to one another.
