Is it permissible for a muslim who works in a non muslim school to join a non muslim trade union by giving money to them for membership so that if there is a dispute at work they will protect his rights and defend him etc.

now uber been famous in food delivery here. As a Muslim I’m wondering if it’s halal to work for uber delivery knowing that chances are that you would be paid to deliver pork and or pork products?

We have a classroom in the shape of an L. The male teacher sits in one part doing his own thing and the female teacher teaches her class in the other part. The male and female teacher don’t look at each other or interact, and people passing by can look in and see everything. Is this khulwah?

I´m a European Muslimah looking to move to a muslim country from Northern Europe in order to find a job in an all-female environment. I need to have quite a bit of money saved up to pay for an apartment etc abroad. Where I live, working environments are mixed. Would it be permissible to work in a store or in a kindergarden (female employees but mixed kids) or elsewhere to save money?

This is permissible. The children are below ten years of age and this is not mixing.

There is a new app launched in India which is offering 50% cashback offer for the first transaction from that app to everyone. Now a person is informing everyone about that app and goes and makes transactions from different people’s mobiles and get cashbacks of (200 max) from each mobile and then says to transfer that amount to himself. Is that earning and collection of money Haram or Halal?

This is not permissible. He is asking for that money without any right in it.

In my country, the islamic banks follow islamic rules in deposits, opening of accounts etc. But in terms of loan, they impose interest based policy. The mawlanas of our country say, as these islamic banks follow islamic rules in most of the matters and impose interest in only loan section, so it is permissible to work there. Is it true?

Sheikh. I am a Structural Engineer working in the UK. I wanted to know if I am allowed to work on a project which involves the design of the structure of a swiming pool as it is a place where the awrah of people is uncovered and there is free mixing?
