What’s the ruling in islam for giving massage as a profession?

If the massage is being given to the same gender and for medical purposes while concealing the awrah, this is permissible.

There is a radio station where I have opportunity to invest. Concern is, this radio station may be broadcasting haram things like songs, etc. At the same time this is a business opportunity for me, may help me get connections, etc and also may give me opportunity to push for broadcasting religious program like ‘Quran recitation as a program. Am I allowed to invest in this radio project?

By investing in such a radio station, you will be responsible for whatever is being aired on it. Therefore I believe that you must not invest in such a project.

Shaykh, I teach in school Alhumdulillah. So, me, the principal and her husband, we 3 need to talk sometimes regarding teachers, about their performance and what to do to encourage them or to take benefit out of them! So like we discuss that some teachers have low voice so what should we do or some teacher who have less confidence so is it considered backbiting! Because according to that we give teachers the subject in which they can perform well!.

I would like to ask you that i am offered a job from a company called Visa Inc. This is the company that controls the backend financial payment control of credit cards. The role that i will have is the planning and project management of the mobile apps and marketing etc. Please suggest if it is permissible to work in such organization and this role.

Sheikh,there is a work for a woman in UAE.It is following work: A group of women(5 members)should go to flats and houses and offer drinking water (sales representative). And then if they agree a company will deliver them bottled water.They told that at day time men are usually at work and we will have to talk mainly with women. So, sheikh do you advise me to go to such a work?

This is field work, door to door selling and i dont advise this for women. Moreover, there might be other men who are not head of families or young boys who may still be at home. If you make sure you only interact with women, this is permissible.

I am in the UK. I want to start a House Removals business. I have worked for someone previously in this type of business. Things like these occur: 1) moving their food including meat & alcohol 2) females (without their man) travelling with us in our van 3) one time carrying hindu ‘gods’ in a suitcase These things will inevitably happen, but we are not sure case by case i.e. we find out after arriving at their premises and start loading our van. Is this permissible?

This is not permissible .

Sometimes I buy some clothes from Bangladesh and sell them over in Ireland. Some of the clothes are brands like Tommy, Polo. I get them much cheaper from Bangladesh and sell them in my work place. Is this way of business acceptable in Islam?

This is not permissible. Your Rizq is with Allah and not with humans! Therefore, ask Him to provide for you and have your full trust in Him.

Sheikh! Was going thru your fatwa questions here and i am actually in page 298 where it says that selling or buying cats is not allowed. Nowadays, hybrid cats are popular as pets and of course buying and selling are popular too. My brother is actually taking care of a hybrid cat which he bought from a pet shop. Did he just commit a sin? Advice please.

If he did not know the ruling over this issue, in sha Allah he is not sinful, but he should not do it again now that he knows the correct way.
