My husband is looking for a job in a different field than his.He has no experience in the new field and is studying to get experience.For him to get a job in this new field,4 years experience is required.He wants to write in his resume that he already has 4 years experience,which is not the truth.I am scared that this is a lie and Allah may not give us barakah.pls advice

Surely this is a lie and cheating. If someone does this to him, he would never accept this or forgive him.

My father has a seafood shop he supplies fish to bar. My question is, Is it permissible to supply fish to bar as fish is halal or its not permissible even halal item to bar because it is wine and alcohol shop and we are supporting them by other products. Kindly please answer with the light of quran and hadith.

He shouldn’t supply them with anything. If they come and buy from his shop like anyone else, this is permissible but he must not go near their shop for delivery or for supplying them.

I am a contributor of a news portal. I write or translate article and then the editing panel add pictures to it. Adding pictures is not in my hand. sometimes they add photos that violates islamic rulings. My writing contents are halal. Will I be accountable for those photos?

Sheikh I am in the business of selling abayas. And some of my customers like to order stone worked abayas. Is it permissible to create and desing simple stone worked and embroidered abayas. Keeping in mind our products follow all the other necessary rulings such as loose fit, not transparent, not in an attractive colour etc. Please advise.

It is not permissible to design such abayah which are adornments by itself.

Can a Muslim administrator in a secular country can compromise on his principles, as sometimes he has to sign papers building temples or organising Haram festivals as he is the authority for doing it. Will he be sinful even if its part of his job as per govt policy. If Muslim Keep away from these jobs it would be detrimental to Muslim society at large.

There is no compromise in a Muslim’s convictions and beliefs! We are Muslims and we give priorities to our religion and we do not collaborate with others in evil and vice and without doubt, approving such temples is the greatest evil!

I work with a commission in my country. We don’t go to work except if their is work. If so, everybody will be informed and we will come and do the work and disperse. Is our salary halal or haram ?

This depends on the laws and regulations of that commission.

Is it permissible for anyone to work as an imam of a mosque with the intention of earning money, providing that he has to repay some debts?

No problem, if he gets a regular salary, i.e. from the government and it’s like a regular paid job. His intention is what counts! Is he doing it for the money or for the sake of Allah and the money comes afterwards!

My job is to make cakes from home and sell it to people. Many people also take cakes for birthday celebration. So should i not take such orders? Is it obligatory for me to ask reason they are asking for cakes?

If they tell you that it is for a haram celebration, don’t sell it. But if you don’t, you can sell them.

I’d like to ask that would it be halal for me to work in a company as someone who counts and pays the wages? Im not sure if it is called payroll in english. I would think that it doesn’t include something dealing with riba but Im not sure. May Allaah reward you!
