Salam alaikum I have been married for 8 years and we have 3 children. My wife is also pregnant. Sheikh she has had a bad weight problem for some time now and I feel she is not disciplined in looking after her health. She is very untidy and we tend to disagree about many things regarding life and Islam. I’m sorry but I don’t feel attracted to her anymore. I have mentioned that we should separate or I would take another wife. I am being selfish and unjust. Chukran.

Assalamu aalikom It is your right to take another wife if you can afford it and be fair with both of them.

Assalamu alikum,Is it permissible for a husband to be possessive about his wife ?If yes, how far he can do that ? Is there any limit as it may lead to some other problem in relationship like suspicion, spying etc ? For example, due to financial crisis husband allowed her wife to work. But sometimes husband react to his wife due to her interaction with malecolleague. Her point is as she is working, it may happens sometimes and she is trying her best to avoid such interaction. Now she is blaming her husband as a suspicious guy, she termed it ” excessive possessiveness “. She is about to leave her job, it was for a short timeand she is asking her husband to have trust on her. So is it ” excessive possessiveness ” from husband ?

Wa alaikum salaam, she was out of place to think like that and he is right to demand from her to not interact with strange men. A man who is not jealous is not a man.

As salam u ‘alaykum… Will a person get reward if he intentionally marry a girl who is an orphan with the intention of supporting her and also to fulfill the sunnah of Nikah?

Wa alaikum assalam, Yes, in sha Allah. However, once a person reaches puberty, he or she is not an orphan any more.

My husband finacially unstable..he allows me to work abroad to support our family daily needs.he doing his best to be a mother and father for our childrens,he takecare of our house.I spend all my salaries to them since my husband has no job he spent all his time to care of our childrens..is this allowed in ISLAM,that our obligations as a couple was enterchanged?

Assalamu alaikum This is permissible as you both agree to that.

Can husband stop his wife from being pregnant after several number of kids? Can a woman take medicines to stop being pregnant? Can a woman undergo an operation after having several number of kids for example she has given birth to 4 kids………… …… but her husband says 4 kids are enough now and should stop. So, in this situation what should a woman do?
