Can I write a book of my life in the form of an inspirational story and publish it? Would it be wrong islamically to disclose my whole life in the form of book which people could read and will learn from it?

ANSWER: This sounds like exposing your dirty laundry to all to see. It will contain secrets that must be concealed and backbiting or relatives and friends that are prohibited to expose. There is no good from writing such a thing!

In My relative house,there is a guava tree which is owned by a non Muslim.My relative is eating the fruits of that tree without asking his permission.when I asked about that,they say that owner of the tree did not take care of it and it’s fruits become waste..so we are eating and we will give him money for that.Is it permissible? If not what is the expiation?

ANSWER: If the fruits fall in their piece of land and not on his land, this is permissible in Sha Allah as he should have restricted the branches from trespassing.

Is it permissible for a girl to play badminton with her father outside? If she is observing full niqab and covering herself.

ANSWER: If non mahram men can see her, this is not permissible as it shows her awrah while she jumps and runs around.

I wanted to ask something. is it haram to purchase something knowing that the owner of the good got it from a game of chance because i read somewhere which says it’s allowed because Allah (S. W) said “What each self earns is for itself alone. No burden-bearer can bear another’s burden.” (Al-An’aam, 6:164)

ANSWER: No problem in buying from him halal items as where he got it from is not your concern unless you know that it’s a stolen item, in this case it’s not permissible to purchase from him.

I suffer from sihr n jinn possession,so i often ask my mother to read ruqya n blow on water and give me that water to drink;n i also ask her to make dua for my cure as I’ve read that a parent’s dua for their children is accepted.Am i doing something wrong n does this mean that i lack tawakkul as I’m asking my mother to do these things?Please advise.

ANSWER: Asking her to make dua for you is permissible. You should do the ruqyah yourself. Asking others to make ruqyah on you takes one out of the 70,000 that will be admitted to Jannah without account. Someone is giving me 550Rupees for my 500rs indian note for there is something special in that note like numbers or anything else is it permissible for me to sell that 500Rupees note for 550/- is it riba?

Here in Nigeria, there is some situation on-going, some of our brothers and sisters in the southern part are beginning to learn about the ruling on kneeling and bowing to greet and they are sticking to it, however the parents are being hostile especially since it is a cultural thing, they beat up these young girls and even take them out to forced marriages, some fled their homes. ANSWER: If there is a real eminent danger on them, they may do it while resenting it in their heart and trying to change their tactics in bringing awareness to their parents and to change this culture bit by bit! They must be diplomatic and learn how to preach Islam with wisdom.
