You must not listen to your parents in this regard as keeping a beard is not an option, rather it’s mandatory. However, you must be diplomatic, respectful and never raise a voice in front of them as this is a major sin. You must be firm in your approach though and not shave.

I want grow my beard as it is sunnah but my mother is not satisfied with growing beard, she wants to see trimmed(shortened beard).Now what should I do?
