QUESTION: If a husband refuses to go to enough counseling sessions, and refuses to have discussion with the family members including the wife and then he does talaq, is the talaq valid? ANSWER: The evidence is that Allah ordered men to divorce their wives according to their iddah. Therefor, if a man divorces his wife 100 times without revoking the first divorce or reconciling with her, this all counts as a single divorce.
