If you won’t give her Khulu, the judge would award it to her forcefully whether you like it or not as it is unislamic to force a woman to stay with someone she doesn’t love or want. 

QUESTION: My wife requested khula 3 months ago, gave a letter to the Qadi, and cut off communication without trying reconciliation. I’ve called the Qadi 7–8 times; they keep saying they’ll call but haven’t. They’ve not contacted me or her family to understand the issue. I live abroad for work but am ready to attend a meeting anytime. Should I accept the khula or wait?
