My father believes it’s good to visit peer in dargah for advice and duas. I have a brother in Pakistan who visits this person too from dad recommendation. I told my father its wrong , we only seek help from Allah swt and no one else to best of my capability. But he said your grandad use to go too he is good. how to deal with this?

ANSWER: Keep on giving him dawah in a polite and diplomatic way and show him from the Quran how Allah condemned those who followed their forefather’s ways and abandoned tawheed and how they ended.

Sheikh my question is Nikkah that was supervised by molvi who is bidaati is nikkah valid??

Marriage Contract

ANSWER: It is valid as long as the father (wali) of the girl gave consent to this marriage and there were two male witnesses present. So called “molvi” has no impact on the validity of the marriage!

My father in law has only two daughters his wife is dead and he wants to give all his wealth to his both daughters; enqually in his life time. Would vote this week according to Sharia. If not then what maximum he can give to these two daughters.

ANSWER: He can give equal portions to both his daughters while he’s still alive. However, this must be documented and they must posses this in reality as well and not just on paper.

Please Sheikh what is the ruling on reciting Qur’an in congregation or giving out money for it to be recited for the purpose of passing exam

ANSWER: This is not permissible because it’s an innovation.

Some people say you can’t work in a restaurant in Ramadan because non Muslims are obliged to fast too, but isn’t the obligation only on Muslims? So can I work in a restaurant during Ramadan?

ANSWER: Non Muslims are not obliged to fast! Rather it is not permissible for a Muslim to serve food during the daytime of Ramadan, whether it is to non muslims or Muslims.

What’s the ruling of piercing nose , ears? Since it is not allowed to alter the creation of Allah for beauty, I have heard some scholars say that it is forbidden to pierce because it is also a way of beautifying by wearing ear, nose studs. What’s the ruling on this?

ANSWER: No problem in piercing the ears for women. Women during the time of Prophet salla Allahu alaihi wa sallam also used to do this and he did not object to this.
