I am living in Dubai, here the Federal Law considers Begging as a crime, due to which I avoid giving money to poor thinking of I might get in trouble. Later I feel guilty for not helping them out. How do I cope up with this ?

I learned that if a woman goes to a ptaxi while she’s alone with the male driver, it’s haram because the third is the shaytan. But can she go to a taxi with her non-mahram male cousin to go to the mosque to talk to a sheikh, is it halal? so there would be three people in the taxi: the woman, her non-mahram male cousin, and the taxi driver. So it would be two males and one woman in the car.

ANSWER: This is not permissible as her cousin is a non mahram.

Do I have to redo my wudhu after every time I breastfeed my child? Also will my husband have to redo the wudhu if he sees my breastfeeding and a part of my awrah is visible?

ANSWER: 1. No your wudu is not broken because of breastfeeding. 2. Your husband’s wudu is not broken. Looking at someone’s awrah doesn’t break your wudu.

When I was praying salah and I was in prostration I was saying Subhaana rabbiyal a-laa, and then I got my head up slightly to rise from sujood. But, because I didn’t read the last part properly I quickly put my head down again in sujood and said the last part again, without moving my body too much. Is my prayer valid?

ANSWER: This was wrong as lifting your head ends your prostration. Going back to it means that you had added a 3rd prostration instead of offering only 2. You should have offered 2 prostrations of forgetfulness at the end of the prayer. Sujood As Sahu (Prostrations of Forgetfulness)

ANSWER: Your fast is valid because eating suhoor is not mandatory.

Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) said: “Whoever prays Fajr in congregation then sits remembering Allaah until the sun rises, then prays two rak’ahs, will have a reward like that of Hajj and ‘Umrah, complete, complete, complete.” Narrated by al-Tirmidhi (586). Is this authentic?

When you forget to say dua for eating or bismillah before you eat do you have to recite dua for forgetting to eat when you remember and have food or water in your mouth or after first emptying your mouthful do you say the dua for forgetting?

There is an online islamic website which teaches Quranic Arabic and it has many lectures in it about different topics. Is it permissible to take fee for the services it offers. Arabic language I understand but shouldn’t the lectures be free

ANSWER: No problem in charging fees for lectures. By your logic, all colleges must be free and teachers must not charge money for what they teach!

Why is it that working in a non-Islamic bank is prohibited even when one’s job does not at all, in any way whatsoever, involved or help the bank in their practices of riba? How can things like giving/taking people cash or exchaning currency be prohibited?

ANSWER: You are helping them in their work where if no one worked in such a position, their work wouldn’t be complete! By your logic working as a receptionist at a brothel or a bar is perfectly fine!
