Sheikh what is the ruling on interaction with an ex-spouse about children between them? I’m on good terms with my ex-husband, we are both remarried. He only contacts me about our son, we never have any other contact outside of that. My husband doesn’t like that and wants to be the point of contact between my ex and I. this will most likely cause problems. What is the best way to handle this?

ANSWER: Your husband has all the right to be jealous! You can have him contact your son directly or contact your father or brothers to avoid conflicts.

ANSWER: Buying something that you don’t know of whether it is few or plenty and whether it is good or defect or whether it is worth the price or not, this is prohibited and it is like gambling.

I am a woman in polygamy the last wife of 3 wives. I recently got married and didn’t know my husband is struggling financially. ANSWER: You are not obliged to spend on yourself, let alone your husband! It is his responsibility to look after you and not vice versa. With wives like you, he wouldn’t have to work as long as he has “sugar mommy”!

ANSWER: Sufism is an innovation and some of their leaders went out of the fold of Islam due to their kufr and shirk. It is against the religion of Allah and the sunnah of the Prophet salla Allahu alaihi wa sallam.

By mistake i broke my fast twice before maghrib,thinkng that maghrib adhan must be called uptill now,it was 14fast from 2consecutive months of expiation,do i have to make up this1fast in end or 14 again?as 2 months now r about 2 complete

ANSWER: If you broke your fast on the assumption without a legitimate reason, this fast is void and it interrupts the fasting of the 2 consecutive months. You should disregard that day and what was before it and count the day after it as day 1.
