ANSWER:

During prayer you must look to the place of your sujud except in tashahud you should look at your index finger.

I was told that during tashahud, we are supposed to look at our index finger but I have doubt in this because I know that our eyes are supposed to be fixated on the spot where our heads make sujood. Can you clear this up for me, please?
