ANSWER: The closer to the imam, the better, whether to the left or right. However, the right side is better than the left.

Is it permissible to split the reading of Surah Al Kahf on fridays rather than reading it in one sitting?

Today even in islamic videos we see various sound effects like clicking,taking photo,ping,cring etc. Also sound effect used in messenger ( when a message comes). Are these sound effects halal?

ANSWER: If these are just random natural sounds without intending it to be used as music then no problem in this. As for messages notification, you can choose normal natural sounds, like birds chirping etc.

Can we pray 2 rakat nafl before maghrib fard salah? If yes then can we make it as habit.? Because I read hadith regarding this matter in sahih Al Bukhari.

ANSWER: There’s a hadith about praying 2 rakahs after the athan of Maghrib, though it’s not a highly recommended Sunnah, if you want you can pray.

sometimes in fb some people (female) want to know about some islamic ruling.before comment i do this only for sake of allah but After commenting naturally in my mind i recheck if she replied/love my comment & i can’t stop the thinking. .as i am doing this so now i am afraid that my that deed will go in vein.so should i stop commenting.?

ANSWER: Simply rub water during wudu while washing those parts and your wudu would be valid.

If the husband asks for my social media passwords,can I request him not to burden me like this?Since i might have conversations with my family that I don’t want him to know,and accidents(like he is angry and posts something bad on my Facebook for which i lose my reputation)rather can i say that if he suspects i will show him at the moment in front of me if i am suspicious?

ANSWER: He has no right in asking you for your passwords!

I’ve seen people to sign their wedding contracts or do nikah in masjids where the imam and other Muslimeen sit and pray for the newly wed. Is this from the sunnah? If it’s not a sunnah and if there’s nothing mentioned about it in the sunnah, where would you recommend us to sign our wedding contracts or do nikah?

ANSWER: This is not from the sunnah but it is permissible. Nikah can be done anywhere, there’s no prescribed place for this. It must be segregated and women must not mix with men and there must be no music.
