Once I used to play musical instrument but now I don’t.I have a flute,Harmonium and harmonica at some.Is it okay if those instruments just stay in my home and I don’t play them ever!

ANSWER: This is not permissible as you will get the urge to play them one day or someone else would see it and use it and you will get the sins for that even after your death.

I get riya thoughts every time i pray in the masjid or with anyone at all even if its one person the best way for me to get away for this is to pray alone, when i do this im ok, as soon as someone comes i get thoughts of riya, its the worst when i go to the masjid & its the beginning of salah i stop & think this is for Allah but its still there what to do, it hapens so much i jst ignore it.

Sheikh almost over 2 years ago I fixed deposited some amount in my bank which is with interest and earlier that time I didn’t knew that it was haram, so what should I do when I take it out from bank now ?

ANSWER: Keep the original amount that you deposited and give away all the interest money to poor and needy muslims in order to cleanse your wealth from such haram money, besides sincerely repenting to Allah for this.

How do I explain to people that although prophet had long hair, it is not part of a sunnah? Also the scholars in our country say it is sunnah to keep long hair. Will people following them be sinful by keeping long hair?

As women pray at home, can we make dua at home guessing the time between adhan and iqamah?

ANSWER: You don’t need to guess. The time for duaa is from the time of athan till when you stand up to pray your fard, despite of the iqamah of the masjid as this has no concern to you.

I’m unemployed now but I’ve an opportunity to get a job. As I’m free now I’ve time for salah and doing other good deeds but i think that when I’ll be employed, i won’t get time to do relegious activities and I’m also in need of job. So please guide me, should i do work, or work for the akhirah?
