There’s a possibility that a part of my backside mught have been exposed in ruku and sujood due to the clothe being short. However I don’t know for sure and this was not in my mind that my clothes were short. Now that I doubt it, do I repeat my prayers that I have doubts about? Same goes about my hair too which might have been exposed but I’m not sure. I’m a woman

ANSWER: You are sinful for praying is such short clothes knowing that your awrah might be exposed. If you are not certain that it was revealed, you don’t need to repeat the prayers.

Can I lie to my relatives that I have a personal reason not to come to their wedding which includes free mixing , music etc. or I MUST say that it is due to Islamic reason?

ANSWER: It’s not permissible to lie! You must tell them the truth so that you won’t be accountable on the day of judgment and also in order to give them dawah.

After reciting surah falaq,naas & iqkhlas after every prayer once and after fajr & maghrib 3 times, Do I have to wipe over my whole body Or just have to recite the surahs?

ANSWER: It’s not permissible to wipe your body when reciting this after prayer, it’s an innovation.

Shaikh my parents are disregarding the marriage proposal I like by saying that it will ruin my future generations if I marry a girl who was adopted, please tell me if this is a shariah reason to deny a proposal and how to convince my parents? The girl is practicing and have a good character.

ANSWER: No, this is not a reason at all to reject a proposal. If she’s a practicing Muslimah with correct aqeedah then you can go ahead and marry her even without your parents approval as a man does not require anyone’s permission to get married except the consent of the girl’s guardian!

Sheikh, my parents backbites about others 24/7.. Its difficult for me to defending others or to convince my parents not to do it. And my relation with my parents become worse for stay away from them for their backbiting.What should I do now? As hearing them, I m also become sinful.

ANSWER: You need to be diplomatic and smart while dealing with them. Try to change the topic or leave to get some water when they start backbiting so that you won’t be there with them.

Is it authentic to give dua to someone when we see them laughing (Azhakallahu sinnak)?

I am working and I hear the adhaan. Should I stop working and pray in the masjid or wait for the end of my working which is within the prayer time and pray alone?

ANSWER: If your office management does not allow you to go and pray in the masjid then no problem in praying alone as long as you pray within the allocated time of that prayer.

If impurity touches the skin area outside of the main exit passage, can I use moist tissue wipes which contain micellar water as it is easier for me. or does it have to be pure running water?

ANSWER: What counts is removing the impurity from the place where it came out from. This can be done with water or with stones or toilet papers or the likes. Wet wipes does this job efficiently and hence this is permissible, and Allah knows best.

ANSWER: The sunnah is to give salam whenever you enter a graveyard and not when passing by from the outside.

Is traveling to a far mosque for the sole reason to pray there other than Mecca Madina And Al Aqsa prohibited.
