In second row, if I see a brother on far right alone in second row because first row is full. Do I stand behind Imam as it is mentioned or do I join the brother in far right ?

ANSWER: Stand behind the Imam.

Sir if we forget to keep the intention or not sure whether we kept the intention can we leave the prayer and restart again when praying alone?

ANSWER: No. When you make wudu and stand for prayer, that is your intention in itself.

Have a LOT of old clothes 2 give away Alhumdulillah. They r taking up too much space n cluttering d house. Bt cannot giv them away bcoz of wot u said: 1. Pictures on them (I tried painting, it’s exhausting n didn’t work) 2. Female clothes hv hijab issues lik short sleeves etc. Can female clothes b given away by asking d person to not wear it infront of non-mehram? If not,wot 2 do?

ANSWER: Do not give away the ones with photos. As for the females dresses, you can give it away and assume that the poor accepting it would wear it in front of their husbands.

My sister is having her wedding next month InshaAllah and she is willing to not cover her head during the function. The event will be completely segregated and we will put up signs and notices prohibiting photography. I would like to know in case someone manages to snap a picture would we be held accountable for it ? What is your recommendation for such an event ?

ANSWER: You must not allow them to carry the phones in the hall. There are security ladies that have metal detectors and prevent anyone from bringing their phones with them.

Is it obligatory or recommended to recite surahs in descending order in the consecutive raqahs of namaz?

ANSWER: You can recite any surahs you like. It’s not mandatory to maintain the sequence.

If the forehead or nose of a person is injured then does one have to prostate firmly on the ground if doing so might make the injury worsen?

ANSWER: No problem, however you won’t get the prescribed reward for reading the Quran.

I am not a practicing muslim,whenever I start practicing sincerely,either the temptation of movies,games,wasting time gets to me or when I start gaining islamic knowledge,I get confusions and I become scared that I will be deviated, I give up. I become sincere for a period of time then I loose the motivation. Can you please advise me .May Allah reward you.

ANSWER: Allah guides those who He loves and makes them steadfast. If you don’t strive to be one of them, Allah will not guide you. You must put a lot of effort to be among the chosen ones so that Allah will guide you and make you steadfast.

Shiekh i use to play playstation console before but alhumdulillah now i am a practicing muslim i dont play the games anymore, so am i allowed to sell my playstation with games which are not halal is this permissible? Or what should i do with it ? Because in sahih bukhari 948 the prophet forbidden silk to wear but he told umar ra to sell it instead. So whats the ruling ?

ANSWER: No problem in selling the console. Games that are haram must be destroyed and not sold or given away.

Sheikh, in Bangladesh we have many Rickshaws. Is it permissible for a muslim woman to ride in a Rickshaw on her own or does this fall under being in seclusion with the Rickshaw puller? Please note that the front of the Rickshaw is always completely open.

ANSWER: Being alone in seclusion with a non mahram man is not permissible. But if it is not in seclusion and it is in the open air and he is not alone with her, this seems permissible.
