QUESTION: Are companies which promote anti-Islamic things such as L**** through their programmes, pride month etc, enemies of Islam? What is the ruling on buying haraam items from them and letting them earn profit? It can also include subscribing to Netflix etc.. Is it kufr, shirk or haraam?

ANSWER: Such companies are Kafir companies and promote immorality. However, buying halal products is permissible from them. If there is a similar alternative or better, one should avoid them.

QUESTION: There is a hadith about prohibition of killing an innocent soul as if killing entire humanity Is it applicable for animals also or humans only ??

QUESTION: What happens if I asked my dad to get someone to do ruqyah on me and I got ruqyah done on me using bottle of water and oil but I forgot that if I get someone to do ruqyah on me I won’t be in the category of 70,000 who will enter jannah without accountability? ANSWER: It is prohibited to curse and those who curse will not be among those who intercede on the day of judgment.

QUESTION: In my school, we have a school uniform, so I am not able to wear niqab due to this so instead I stick to my mask which covers over have of my face or more, and I pull my scarf a little front. But in school we’re required to take class photographs, and when I achieve something, they flash a photo of me. They tell me to remove my mask and pull my scarf back a bit. What should I do?

ANSWER: You must draw the line between what they tell you and what Allah orders you to do. If they tell you to take of your hijab, would you ask: what to do? Hold your grounds and do not compromise your Islam for no one.

ANSWER: No problem in talking only about business. It’s not permissible to write ayahs or names of Allah for decorative purposes.

QUESTION: What’s the ruling on selling things that have a difference of opinion? for example if one follows the opinion that alcohol is naajis or something can they still sell it on the basis that it’s a valid difference of opinion?

ANSWER: It is totally prohibited to sell wine. Alcohol that is sold as perfumes or in detergents or sanitizers, it is permissible to sell it.

QUESTION: Is it ok if we dont say inshaAllah to non muslims for future events. Like sometimes int eh whatsapp group we have to tell that we will not be coming tomorrow. I fear saying InshaAllah because they will probably think why am I including religion over everywhere. Even for my prefect application, I dont think I said clearly, “I will” to anything.

ANSWER: One should be proud of his religion and say it for the sake of Allah and not for them. There is no sin in not saying it though.

QUESTION: Sheikh, I read on IslāmQa (Hanafī Fiqh) that it is allowed to touch the ears during Takbīr to ensure the Sunnāh of having hands near ears is done properly. Is this ruled out as a Bidd’āh or this exception is accepted?
