ANSWER: If this doubt came to you while you were in your Umrah, your saee is invalid and you must go back and complete your Umrah as you are still in the state of Ihram. But if you got this doubt after finishing your Umrah, your Umrah is valid.

ANSWER: If you know they will expose the hands, it’s not permissible for you to put henna on them since Allah ordered us in the Quran not to assist each other in evil and sins, let alone their arms.

QUESTION: In Bangladeshi culture there is trend of gifting gold or big amount to newborn child. I don’t like this trend as it is kind of a societal pressure even on those who are not capable of buying gold or such. Is there any Hadith or any scholarly view on this so that I can ask people politely, showing that not to do such things and it should be stopped?

ANSWER: This is not from Islam and it is a cultural thing. You should stop this and not give newborns anything so that this would stop.

QUESTION: my wife have 15 tola of gold, but she is not working and doesn’t have any income source,so is it possible that she make me owner of 8 tola of gold and keep remaining 7 tola gold with her, and than I pay zakat over 8 tola of gold and she doesn’t have to pay since 7 tola is below nisab value? QUESTION: In my culture, the people on Eid day greet each other with a hug three times and they do not really do this outside of Eid day (occasionally they may). Someone told me that because the people single out Eid day to do this hug, it becomes a bid’ah (innovation) and we should not do it. I want to know if this is bid’ah and whether or not I should stop people from giving me this triple hug on Eid.

ANSWER: No problem in this (between same gender and mehrams) as its a cultural thing and people do not do it as an act of worship.
