Lot times jamath visit us, I try my best to respectfully tell them, “I have works, please leave me”, they insist on telling “some innovative stories/ you can’t go to jannah only you praying,…”. ANSWER: No, she has the right to have her own bedroom, washroom and her own separate kitchen. She is not obliged to meet any of his family members, let alone serve them!

QUESTION: I received ₹327 bank interest and gave away ₹350, so ₹23 extra was already given. Later, another ₹327 interest came. Can that previous extra ₹23 count toward the new interest amount, or must each month’s interest be given separately? ANSWER: No, you cannot count the previous extra amount given without intending it. No problem in giving the amount either from cash or from the same bank. What matters is to get rid of that much amount of interest money.

QUESTION: I paid a charity to do the sacrifice for me. I paid for a goat but due to availability the charity may complete the sacrifice with another acceptable option. Is my sacrifice valid?

ANSWER: These things are known from Islam by default and it is next to impossible to claim that some Muslims don’t know the ruling of it, unless they are living in a kafir country and they did not learn about rulings of Islam properly.

ANSWER: In Islam, she is not obliged to adapt to the customs and routines of her in-laws and may maintain her own preferences. Her job in Islam is to take care of him and his children, and she may do that in any way she sees fit.
