ANSWER: You must not make such a deal as this is an obligation upon you not to sin!

QUESTION: I joined the imam in the 2nd rakah of maghrib. He thought it was his last and was about to make Salam but people corrected him. He then prayed the third rakah and performed sajd e sahu. Should I also perform sajd e sahu or not as it is my 2nd rakah.

ANSWER: If he performed it before the salam, you must offer it with him as well. But if he performed it after the salam, you don’t offer it with him as you must stand up to make up your missed rakah and then complete your prayer as usual.

QUESTION: Sheykh, there r some videos on Net where elderly people pray in jamat and make mistakes while praying,usually Witr prayer(they either stand up on the wrong rakah,or try to do ruku when they aren’t supposed to,and the youngsters are laughing at them,especially if some funny sounds are added on the videos.I know it’s innapropriate to laugh at them,but is it kufr if we laugh at these people praying?

ANSWER: It is totally prohibited what people are doing in Pakistan and the demonstrations taking place there! They have divided the country and caused chaos and disruption in the land. Those who encourage such demonstrations won’t rest until their country is torn like Yemen and Sudan!

QUESTION: I cannot stand my sister. I try my best to love her for the sake of Allah but I just can’t. I literally don’t even want to look at her. She is mean to everyone and almost all my siblings had a fight with her just cause of how bad she treats everyone including my mom and she’s only 17. Also, my mom can’t get her to do anything without pleading to her. Am I sinful for not liking her?

ANSWER: This is a phase in her life that she will hopefully get over it. Treat her with kindness and compassion despite her behavior and without expecting anything in return from her and Allah will guide her heart one day because of this.

QUESTION: My college school always plans vacational trips on Fridays and it’s just something planned for fun. As a Muslim am I sinful for missing Khutbah to go to this trips.

QUESTION: I’m a woman and I live with dad. He will loose his job soon due to a new law in Canada. I want to work so I can pay myself things that I need such as soap, clothes, food ect. I know I can’t work in a place with free mixing but IDK what are the conditions for it to be considered free mixing plz tell me. E.G Can I work on customer service on the phone?

ANSWER: Working in customer service is permissible as long as the business of the company is halal and you never soften your voice when talking with males and only keep it firm and professional.

QUESTION: I am student. As a student i always need to study till late night so that i can complete my syllabus. As a result i cannot pray my fazr prayer in time. I pray the fazr prayer after juhur / Asor. Am i sinful? If i am then will Allah forgive me??

ANSWER: Of course you are sinful and committing a major sin. This is a sign of hypocrisy when you skip fajr like this for worldly matters as you are preferring your studies over paradise and over obeying Allah.

QUESTION: In the Subcontinent, many believe that Tasbeehs/Qurans and other religious items which were either bought or used in Makkah/Madinah have more Barakah and therefore request for such items. Is this true?
