ANSWER: How does one make duaa through our prophet salla Allahu alaihi wa sallam? If he calls the Prophet ﷺ and asks him to ask Allah, this is shirk for addressing the dead who can’t hear us!

ANSWER: I don’t know this individual and he is not known to be a scholar. Anyone who talks ill about moawiyah May Allah be pleased with him is not from Ahlu sunnah and he has the treats of a hypocrite or a shia and must be avoided and boycotted and warned from.

ANSWER: Mimicking people is prohibited when done in a way to amaze people or to make fun of others.

ANSWER: There is no specific dua for this. If you recite the morning and evening adhkar you will come across a dua for protection of your family & wealth.

QUESTION: There is a girl whom i really respect because of her aqida and knowledge. She strictly follow the manhaj of alhul sunnah wal jama’a and we also follow the same scholars. I really want to marry her but the only thing is that she doesn’t cover her hair. What is your advise regarding this? Because i think maybe i can advise her and tell her to wear it when doing the nikkah or after and she could list

ANSWER: Such a woman is not a practicing Muslimah regardless of what she portrays herself to be. She is not a good wife material and I wouldn’t advise you to marry her. Look for someone who walks the talk and would be a good role model to your children

QUESTION: I got a job offer at a bank as a software developer, not as a banker, will I be sinful if I develop programs that may or may not be used by the bank for Riba-based operations ? In general, am I liable for programs I develop that CAN be used for wrong but are intended for good ?

ANSWER: This is totally prohibited and the income is haram as it is not permissible to collaborate with them on evil and vice and you are not allowed to work there even as a janitor.

QUESTION: I’m disabled and my feet are deformed and I have little control over them. It’s much easier to walk with shoes as this creates support for my feet. Is it ok to wear shoes that are below the ankles for umrah/hajj due to necessity ? Sandals or otherwise would make it very difficult for me.

ANSWER: You can wear such shoes and expiate due to necessity by doing only one of the three following things: 1- slaughter a sheep and distribute the meat to the poor round the haram area 2- feed six poor people 1.5 kg of rice 3- fast 3 days.

QUESTION: I study in another city. I often come home during vacation. In this case, do i have to pray full or I can shorten my prayer.

ANSWER: You must pray full. You can only pray like a traveller during the time while you are actually travelling between these 2 cities, once you reach your hometown, you pray normally.
