QUESTION: In Bangladeshi culture there is trend of gifting gold or big amount to newborn child. QUESTION: In my culture, the people on Eid day greet each other with a hug three times and they do not really do this outside of Eid day (occasionally they may). Someone told me that because the people single out Eid day to do this hug, it becomes a bid’ah (innovation) and we should not do it.
