QUESTION: I live in small town and there is a beef factory. I have seen that the animal is shot and they don’t slaughter the animal from the jugular vein but from the throat down. I know there an ayah that forbids us from eating dead animal and in a hadith in Sahih al-Bukhari 2236, the prophet (peace and blessing be upon him) forbade us to trade from dead meat. My question sheikh, I want you to help

ANSWER: If the source of meat in your town is coming only from such a factory and you know for certain that the animal is cold dead before being slaughtered, then this is dead meat and you can’t eat from it.

QUESTION: We know that you can make dua in sujood and before tasleem in salah in your own language if yoyu do not know how to say it in Arabic. If you do know how to say it Arabic, but choose English, does this invalidate the salah?

QUESTION: I am a Muslim revert and I took out a student loan before I became muslim. After becoming muslim I became a housewife and had kids. ANSWER: As long as you don’t have money to pay it off and their system is that if you are not earning, then you are exempted from paying it off, there is no problem.

ANSWER: This is not permissible unless its an emergency and no one else is there to help. Prophet salla Allahu alaihi wa sallam said its better to be stabbed in the head by an iron needle than to touch a non mehram woman.
