If any one eat or drink from them they will affect by the cholera shaik is this hadeeth true. I wrote in my words. Because i read it in Tamil. ……………………………………………… The hadeeth is authentic but it doesn’t tell us what disease it is. Therefore, we can’t say it is cholera.

Your friend is most likely a new revert to Islam or he is ignorant. The hadeeth is in Saheeh Muslim where the Prophet salla Allahu alaihi wa sallam said that fasting the Day of Arafat expiates two years.
