According to Ibn Is-haq, the Prophet divorced Hafsa but then took her back. Others say that the Prophet did not divorce Hafsa The hadeeth is authentic that states that the Prophet salla Allahu alaihi wa sallam divorced her.

The prophet said – Whoever went to a fortune-teller and asked him about some matter (i.e. of the unseen) and believed him, will have his prayer rejected for forty days. I hear that this is not authentic is that true?

This is not true. The hadeeth is authentic and it is in Musnad Al Imam Ahmed.
