QUESTION: Is saying adhan and iqama obligatory before each prayer? Is only one of the two obligatory? Please explain.

ANSWER: It’s not mandatory to give the adhan if its already given in any masjid in the city. Reciting the iqamah is a highly recommended sunnah but it’s not mandatory and the prayer is valid even if one skips it intentionally

ANSWER: No, this is not permissible and he won’t get the reward. You can recite it while he is listening to it and both of you will be rewarded for that.

ANSWER: Backbiting is not related to laylatul qadr being accepted or rejected. Asking people for forgiveness might cause more harm.

ANSWER: It is not mandatory and your Tawaf is valid even if you didn’t do that. If there is no crowd, it is sunnah to kiss it. If you are not able, simply point at it. Women must not squeeze themselves among men to do such a thing.
